Accreditation Statement
The 14th World Congress of the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology (WFNMB), Cartagena de Indias, Colombia 13/02/2026 – 16/02/2026, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 19.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
How to Apply for EACCME® Credits
Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to their actual participation at the event. Sessions accredited per day are indicated in the program with “CME” in the title.
To claim your EACCME® credits, you must respond to a survey in the Congress App for each scientific session you attend. Please follow these steps:
1. Download the Congress App.
2. Select the session you are attending.
3. Once the session has concluded, you must respond to a survey by tapping “Start Survey” in the selected session within the App. The survey closes 15 minutes after the session has finalized.
4. Answer the session survey and click “Submit”. Our system will record the date and time of your attendance

EACCME® Certificate
The EACCME® Certificate will be sent after the Congress. To receive your certificate, you must complete the Feedback Form, which will be sent to you by email after the Congress.
